Goat’s cheese and herb tartlets
Tomato and red pepper tartlets
Spinach roulade with a mushroom filling
Twice-baked cheese and chive soufflés
Chicken liver pate with brandy
Smoked salmon pate with dill
Sun-dried tomato, leek and feta cheese filo pastry parcels
Soups – Roasted tomato, spinach, cream of watercress, carrot and coriander or lentil and cumin

Main courses - £4.50 per portion, £4 for 6 or more

Chicken

Thai green chicken curry
Fillets stuffed with garlic and herb cream cheese, wrapped in parma ham
Coq au vin – braised in red wine with bacon and mushrooms
Fillets with a tomato, black olive and pesto sauce
Chicken, ham and tarragon rosti-topped pie

Beef

Bourguignon – casserole with bacon, mushrooms and red wine
Carbonnade – casserole with beer, onions and sultanas
Steak and mushroom and/or kidney pie
Lasagne al forno (with steak mince)

Pork

Normande – boneless meat with apples, celery and cider sauce
Stroganoff – tenderloin with a sour cream, mushroom and wine sauce

Lamb

Navarin – lean cubes with baby vegetables in a veloute sauce
Persian lamb – boneless, with apricots and middle-eastern spices
Moussaka – lamb with layers of aubergine, tomato and cheese sauce

Other dishes

 
Quiches – quiche lorraine, spinach and mushroom, cheese and onion or ham and sweetcorn £7 (6 portions), £8.50 for 8
Roasted vegetable lasagne – layers of Mediterranean vegetables with a white sauce and parmesan £4 per portion
Koulibiac – fillets of salmon, layered with a dill, onion and rice filling, wrapped in puff pastry £4 per portion
Fisherman’s pie – smoked haddock, cod and salmon in a parsley sauce, topped with mashed potato £4.50 per portion
Sole fillets – stuffed with a prawn and cream cheese filling and wrapped in puff pastry £4.50 per portion

Homemade cakes – gingerbread, banana and honey cake, carrot cake, lemon drizzle cake, chocolate brownies – all £4.50 each

Puddings – all £8 for about 6 portions
